If your size is not there, they make the shank. That is a regular ask. We will not sell you a ring that spins because the tray only had the next size up.

When people buy a ring here

Everyday. Engagement. A wedding pair. A stone an astrologer asked for. A men’s ring. A replacement when the old shank has thinned. A first gold ring for someone who does not want a chain yet. We try to do what is right for the customer at that point. An engagement sitting is not a Dhanteras sitting. We will not mix the two speeches.

If you saw a ring on Instagram, we can make it. If you don’t like it, give it back and we will remake it. Because we care about the customer being satisfied. Say what must stay — the height of the setting, the width of the band — and what can move. The process is on custom jewellery.

How rings are sized and checked

Sized on the finger in the room. After food, not on a cold morning if you can help it, because fingers change. They will tell you if a size is in the box or if the shank has to be made. Hallmark on gold. Certificate on diamonds. Papers on gemstones. Prongs and claws get checked. A stone that rocks does not leave. All jewellery passes strict QC. How a piece is checked.

After you take it home, a loose claw should come back before a wedding morning. Soft cloth. No chlorine. Gemstone rings should not sit in a hot car. Jewellery care.

A plain 916 band is the piece people wear without thinking about it. An antique 22kt pair is the piece they wear to a wedding. A men’s ring is often the first gold a man buys if he does not want a chain. We keep all three on the same counters. Our showroom team will open the box and tell you which sizes are in. If your size is not there, they make the shank. That is normal work, not a speech.

We do not publish ring weights or rates on this site. We do not sell online. You sit with the ring on the finger. If you already own a matching pair and need one replaced, bring the other ring. They will match the language without pretending the new one is the old one. The invoice is this year. The gold is hallmark.

Three generations of certain families have been buying gold from us. A grandmother’s pair, a mother’s pair, a daughter’s pair — sometimes all from this counter. Most staff have stayed over 10 years, so the person who sized the first ring is often still there for the third. That is why we think long term. We try to do what is right for the customer at that point, rather than sell a heavier ring because it is in the box.

How a visit usually goes

Walk in. Say what you want. They open the tray. You try the weight or the size. They show the hallmark or the certificate. If the piece is not there, they take a photograph and a date. If you do not like the finished work, give it back and we remake it.

We are customer first. We think long term. People have been trusting these stores for generations. Since 1992, about 34 years. Most staff have stayed over 10 years. We do not sell online. We do not publish gold rates or making charges. Gold you bought from us is 100% exchange value. Gold from elsewhere: a nominal melting loss. We try to give the best buyback and exchange we can. Sit with the piece at the counter.

Message the store you already use if you are travelling across the city for one size or one length. A cropped story from Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest is enough to start.
