When people buy a kada

How kadas are sized and checked

Tried on the wrist in the room. If it does not close, they make it to size. Hallmark. Stamp against the ticket. Finish on the carving. If it does not close, they make it to size. We will not send you home with a kada that pinches and a promise that it will loosen. That is not how we work.

Dhanteras and weddings fill this tray. Everyday too — a man who wants one piece of gold and does not want a chain. We try to do what is right for the customer at that point. A wedding pair is not a Dhanteras kada. We will not mix the two speeches. Antique-look kadas live with antique jewellery.

Hallmark 916. Stamp against the ticket. Most staff have stayed over 10 years. If you have a family kada on your phone, we can match the carving. If you don’t like the remake, give it back and we will remake it. We do not sell online. A kada has to close on the wrist you have.

How a visit usually goes

Walk in. Say what you want. They open the tray. You try the weight or the size. They show the hallmark or the certificate. If the piece is not there, they take a photograph and a date. If you do not like the finished work, give it back and we remake it.
