What we keep on the trays
Regular everyday wear, Italian jewellery, mangalsutra, readymade gemstone rings, antique jewellery, and a lot of make-to-order.
Hallmark gold is the daily work — bangles, chains, haar, earrings, kadas. Certified diamonds live first at Kundali Jewels, next to Thunga Hospital, and also on the Narenkumar counters. Gemstone rings are readymade and branded. A lot of what leaves the store started as a photograph on someone’s phone.

What separates us is the quality of service and the personalization. We are customer first. We think long term. We try to do what is right for the customer at that point, rather than sell them something today.
We are not a super large store with hundreds of staff who keep changing. Most staff have stayed over 10 years. When a customer comes back they often find people they know, so we recognise them and the service is personal.

Narendra Jain is from Molela. He sold incense there, then opened a rented shop on Talao Road in 1992. How it started.
This is a jewellery shop in Mumbai. Four doors. There is no cart on this site. You sit with the weight. Phoolji will tell you the grams in Bhayandar. Gopalji will open the Italian tray in Mira Road. Himmatji will put a diamond under the light at Holy Complex. Vijay will measure a baju band in Kandivali.
New gold designs come through about every two weeks. Diamond and gemstone stock moves too. If you are travelling across the city for one piece, message the store first. A cropped story from Instagram is enough to start a custom job.
We do not publish gold rates or making charges here. Those belong to the day you sit, and to the piece in front of you. You can see what ₹10,000 of gold or silver from a year since 1992 is worth now, at a yearly average, not today’s ticket. Gold you bought from us is 100% exchange value. Gold from elsewhere: a nominal melting loss. We try to give the best buyback and exchange we can. Sit with the piece at the counter.

People ask for a light chain they can wear to the office. That is the Italian tray — imported gold, still hallmarked, not a haar. People ask for a mangalsutra they can wear to work, so the wedding one stays in the box. People send a Pinterest screenshot of a temple haar and we make it. If they do not like the fall, they give it back and we remake it. Because we care about the customer being satisfied.
Readymade gemstone rings — pukhraj, neelam, panna, manik — sit ready in gold. Kundali lets you take the stone home for a week. Antique and temple work is new gold that looks older. A wedding sitting is usually the haar first, then maang tikka, baju band, nath, tried in the room.
